Build Your Damn Website

Summer Camp

Aug 5–19 · Virtual with live sesh on Aug 12 · $250

Two weeks to a custom site — published, public, and yours to grow (plus two weeks of guidance because IT'S CAMP).

you are here

Excuse Swamp
(you are leaving it)

"I really need to finish my site — then I can start marketing."

"I keep dragging 'launch website' to next week on my calendar over and over forever."

"There are just too many tiny steps to getting my portfolio online."

I hear it constantly, from women with talent, personality, and a fantastic offer to promote or sell. You have a brilliant idea, but month after month you just never get around to finishing your website, so you never start marketing, and your people never find you. BOOOOO. The "I don't have a website" excuse is doing something sneakier than stalling you: it's censoring your story. And people like me wanna hear your story!

Here's the super duper exciting news. It is easier than EVER to make a digital home base your skills and personality can shine through. The old way cost $200–300 a year in hosting, plus the domain, plus weeks of design agony. (Ask me how I know.) The new way is vibe coding. And believe me, at first I was like WTF, this cannot be easy or worth it. But holy cow, vibe coding will actually change your life/biz/creative project. In this case, you can whip up a gorgeous website in an afternoon!

I'll show you how, because it's my latest obsession: vibe coding as a way to visually present that magic for women who deserve to be celebrated all over the internet. And since you deserve more than a "how to," we're kicking off camp by digging into your messaging and what you stand for before we start vibin'.

The Trail Guide

Drops Aug 5

A robust, self-paced guide to finding your messaging and your voice. What is this website even going to do for you? Promote your creative work? Host a blog? Pre-sell a product? Show off an adventure? Find sponsors or gigs? Finding your story and making it sparkle in front of an audience is what I've built my career on. This is that work, at your pace, on your couch. We'll find your "story under the story," break down self-censorship blocks, map a strategy for driving people to action when they land on your site, and do a 'lil scavenger hunt for all the pieces you'll eventually host on your site (fave photos, etc.).

📻

Ranger Radio

Aug 5–19 · M/W/F

For two work weeks, Voxer me (free back and forth voice memo app!) and I'll answer every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Week one we sharpen your message. Week two I help you troubleshoot and polish your build. If you haven't done coaching or consulting over voice memo yet, prepare to be mind-blown. You'll be surprised by how verbal processing can help you clarify your ideas and get a specific action to work on next. And I'll get to review your site and we can dig into it 1:1 by voice!

🔥

Build Night

Aug 12 · 5–7pm PT · Live

One live session, laptops open, all of us building at once. You describe your page, we vibe code together, and your site goes live before we log off. You'll leave knowing how to edit and expand it yourself, whenever you want. You don't need to know how to code (I don't), you just need to know what you want to convey to the world and what makes you so freakin' awesome. I'll take you step-by-step to get a live link out in the interwebs that shows off YOU.

Stop 2 · The route

Two weeks, start to summit

🚩

Aug 5 · Welcome to camp

The Trail Guide arrives · Ranger Radio on

The guide lands in your inbox and the voice memos start. You start finding your words and your concept.

🔥

Aug 12 · Build Night

Live · 5–7pm PT

Your site goes from idea to published URL in one evening, with me in the room.

🏁

Aug 19 · See ya next summer

Graduation

A full week of post-build Ranger Radio to polish, tweak, and grow it. Then you leave with a live site and the keys to it.

Notice board · Full transparency

Camp runs if 8 women sign up. Eight committed women and we go. Fewer, and we don't. Nobody pays a dime until we're a go.

That's not a marketing trick. I just want to get this info in front of you without burning out myself. 🙂

$250 covers everything I'll give you: The Trail Guide, two weeks of Ranger Radio, and Build Night. Plan on about $35 in tools (you'll want a month of Claude Code and you might want to purchase a domain), and your site costs nothing to run after.

I'll make the go/no-go call on Friday, July 31 and email everyone either way.

Stop 3 · The counselor's cabin

Meet your counselor

Angie Lake in a wide-brim hat, smiling against a deep green backdrop

I'm Angie Lake: storyteller, race director, podcast host, and professional finder of stories that change people. My whole career is helping women make their work sparkle in front of an audience, and I specialize in feral women, outdoor athletes, women with creative side hustles, and women who would rather be camping.

If that's you, camp was built for you.

Verified camp credential: back when I was a day camp counselor, the kids loved me so much they named themselves the Fangies. I basically ran a (totally innocent and cute) cult all summer. We'll put that energy toward your website.

Mail call · From women I've worked with

Letters home

"Angie brings a perfect balance of professionalism, creativity, and fun to all the work she has done to support my business."

— S.R.B. · coaching + consulting client

— T.N. · business owner

"Audiences leave Angie's sessions not only informed but also inspired to apply what they've learned."

— M.S. · nonprofit leadership director

"I have been telling anyone who will listen how amazing this experience has been."

— E.J. · storytelling workshop camper

From client testimonials and workshop surveys. The same brain you'll get on Ranger Radio.

Stop 4 · Postcards from camp

Want proof?

These three demo sites were all built in an afternoon with the exact method you'll learn. So was the map you're holding! These are obvi fictional people so the messaging has some work to do, but I want you to see how unique and professional a vibe-coded site can be. This is just the start of it! (BTW, if these were real and polished, they'd have a domain connected to them AKA yourname.com which we'll totally do!)
